Pu Xi Grade 2: Paper Clock

Second graders are learning about keeping time in math class this week. Every student made a paper clock in order to get a better understanding of the subject. First they wrote numbers around the plate, using a clock as a guide. Then they traced the two hands onto decorative paper and cut them out. Next they punched a hole near the bottom of each clock hand and in the center of the plate. Finally they inserted the brad nail through the hour hand, the minute hand, and then the hole in the plate, and secured everything in place. The clocks turned out great. Our students did a wonderful job!
