Pu Xi Grade 2: Pancake Day
Shrove Tuesday, or Pancake Day, was celebrated in the second grade. The holiday is celebrated in the UK, as the last chance for some people to enjoy sweet food before giving it up for lent. After the second graders learned about Pancake Day, they enjoyed a scrumptious pancake made by our wonderful teachers. Most of the children topped their pancakes with chocolate syrup. It was a delicious celebration!
