Pu Xi G3：Celebrating the Lantern Festival and Valentine’s Day

February 14, 2014 was Valentine’s Day as well as Lantern Festival in Chinese lunar year. In PG class, our 3rd graders learnt the history of both these special days. We made Valentine cards, which will be sent to our parents and friends showing our love. It’s a tradition to solve the puzzle on the lanterns during the Lantern Festival. We also made the traditional Chinese lanterns by ourselves and held a riddle solving competition. All the third graders were in a festive mood.
