Pu Xi Grade 4: 1st Experience of Lantern Festival

February 14, 2014 was the date of the Lantern Festival this year. To celebrate, our grade 4 students from non-native Chinese class went to the school cafeteria and had a special Chinese Cultural Class from the cafeteria staff—— on making dumplings. Although most of our students have eaten the dumplings before, few had ever attempted to make their own. They followed teacher’s direction step by step, and were happily immersed in the activity. When the dumplings were finished, the cafeteria staff prepared them and every student received a bowl. Our students seemed prefer the meat dumplings over sweet dumplings; all the meat dumplings went in 1 minute!

Everyone had a very happy lantern festival!
