Pu Xi Grade 4: Career Day

Thanks to all the parents who volunteered to give grade four students an introduction about their career.

From class 4(1), we had Chris’s mother, who is a neurologist. She had a good interaction with students and let them know how our memory system functions.

From class 4(2), we had Athena’s mother, who works as an emergency room doctor. She taught students first-aid skills for emergencies such as getting a fishbone stuck in the throat.

From class 4(4), we had Elaine’s mother, who left a deep and vivid impression on students by telling them about her experiences being a guest on TV shows. Some students even regarded Elaine’s mother as a superstar.

Although all the students are young and have immature ideas about future careers, they displayed good manners and showed great curiosity throughout the speeches. The career introductions offered a good opportunity for them to broaden their minds and enrich their knowledge, which helped them develop clearer values and ideas about potential future jobs.
