Grade 9: Chinese Character Dictation Game

Recently, the grade 9 students in Shanghai High School International Division have been diligently studying and writing Chinese characters. That’s because on December 20, 2013, all the Chinese native class students of grade 9 participated in a fun character dictation game. After the preliminary contest, each class selected five candidates for the final championship team. In the game, some players wrote the characters confidently without the slightest bit of hesitation, but some were quite confused, as evidenced by their wry grimaces. Meanwhile, the audience, cheering or sighing, contributed to the game’s intense and exciting atmosphere. This game has whipped the students into a frenzy for studying more Chinese characters.
