Puxi Grade One Dioramas

Week 15 was a very exciting week in the first grade science class! Students were given the opportunity to show off their knowledge about a habitat by making and presenting a diorama depicting it. Students brought in a range of creative dioramas! They constructed very elaborate dioramas of rainforests, oceans, grasslands, and deserts. Students practiced their public speaking skills when they presented their habitats in detail in front of the entire class. They discussed the animals and plants found in their chosen habitat as well as how the animals eat and stay safe. Students came in fully prepared and did a fantastic job speaking clearly, explaining their habitat, and answering their peers’ questions.
