Middle School Charity Fair Donation to Philippine Consulate

On Wednesday, November 27th, five student representatives of the seventh and eighth grades traveled with a teacher to the Philippine Consulate in Shanghai to donate money earned at the charity fair to the people in the Philippines. As we all know, the Philippines recently suffered a hurricane of such intensity that it can’t be measured on normal scales. Devastation was brought to the islands of the Philippines. A total of more than 33,500 RMB was donated by seventh and eighth grade SHSID students, and though it is not much, we want to show our concern and hope that this small gift shows our desire to help.
