Grade 10: A Visit to Fujifilm

On the Friday afternoon of November 29th, 21 students from 10th grade went to Fujifilm China Investment Co., Ltd, for a visit. After we arrived, the staff guided us to their office. Quotes representing the spirit of the company and photos of activities adorned the walls. Next we moved to the meeting room, where the history and products of company were shown to us. Other than the digital and film products that we are quite familiar with, Fujifilm also has medical machines and cosmetics. Fujifilm’s success is due to their advanced technology, willingness to challenge, and creativity.

The staff also introduced different working positions and their corresponding majors in college, which provided us with some insight into how to choose our majors in the future.

Fujiflim has a strong sense of social responsibility. Volunteers from the company have been planting trees in the desert to improve the environment. This volunteer work has lasted for fifteen years, and it has inspired us to consider what we might do to contribute to the community.

During the rest of time, technicians introduced the new and most popular products of the company. We tried all of them, and they were amazing!

This visit was a great experience that inspired us tremendously and also helped us to gain more knowledge about the workings of one of the world’s top five hundred companies.
