The English Speech Contest for Senior High School

The English Speech Contest for the Senior High School was held on Nov. 28th. The competition format was different from that of previous competitions. This time the higher level speakers and the standard level speakers shared the same rules. All the finalists gave the speeches they prepared and were challenged by the judges. After that, the top three competitors for the higher level and top two competitors for standard level competed in the final round. They gave impromptu speeches, and then the students, judges, and teachers voted to determine the winners. The first prize for the higher level went to Marion Wu from 12(3), and first prize for the standard level went to Peter Wenyu Wu from 11(7). Director Ma presented the awards to the winners.
