Emergency Safety Education

On Friday the 21st of September, Grade 2 had a Personal Growth about Emergency Safety. The students watched a PowerPoint about what to do in emergency situations and how to call for help. They then went over emergency numbers to dial and role played in emergency situations. Among the skits was one where Rachel and Frank had to act out a scene where Rachel was the little sister who swallowed a bottle of pills and Frank had to call an emergency number for help. All of the students really enjoyed interacting in the skits and pretending to call for emergency assistance, while learning valuable emergency techniques and practices at the same time.
