Junior Section Charity Fair Donation I

May 28, 2012

On an ordinary day during an ordinary P.E. class, a group of students from the ASB went to the Silent Angel Elementary School. The Silent Angel Elementary School is a special school for people with autism, which is a disorder of neural development that impairs social skills and hinders communications with others. However, upon arrival, the student representatives from SHSID discovered that two thirds of the ninety children at the school were normal children, which is to say, with the “normal” amount of spirit and playfulness. So, the student representatives soon found themselves in an ocean of cute little kids. Then, some of the student representatives started setting up the rooms for naptime while others cleaned the playroom and pulled weeds. After all the hard work, the student representatives started making paper windmills while some interacted with the children. The children with autism, apart from being less… energetic than the others, seemed quite normal, and responded to questions. Overall, the Silent Angel Elementary School teachers have done an excellent job teaching these children, and the student representatives left with some drool on their hands and a sense of accomplishment in having successfully helped the needy. All of this would not have been possible without the accomplishments of all of SHSID in the Charity Fair. So we thank you on behalf of the Silent Angel Elementary School.
