Pudong G4: Partner reading

During P&B class, G4 students had an activity —— Partner Reading. The fourth graders and the first graders read books together. First, the teacher chose the partners for the first graders, and then the students began to read with their partner. Students also had a worksheet to finish which included some questions about the book. The 4thgrader needed to teach the 1stgraders how to understand the story and finish the sheet. They behaved patient and nice to each other.

Partner reading is fun because students can share and give comments about the book, and reading together is interesting. They can also talk about the afterthoughts of the story that they read. Students wish that they can have another partner reading.
