Presentation of American Colleges for Local Division Students
Presentation of American Colleges for Local Division Students
On November 22, 2011 (Tuesday), students from international divisions held presentations about the universities and majors in the United States. The presentations were presented by Jeffrey C. Wang and Candice Hwang from 12 (1), and Felix Fung from 12 (7). The introductions about the schools were interesting and the audience were taking notes carefully. Also, the well-made powerpoints made the presentations clearer and easier to understand. The entire activity consisted of four sections:
A. The introduction of American colleges presented by Jeffrey C. Wang. In this section, he talked about the procedure of college application, things to watch out when applying, and other details.
B. The introduction of aviation (major) presented by Felix Fung. Because it is a special major comparing to natural science and social science, the process of attending aviation schools differs from that of normal majors.
C. The experience as a one-week harvard student presented by Candice Hwang. She was invited by Harvard University and had an opportunity to live, eat, and study with harvard students for one week. In her presentation, she mentioned how harvard students study, play, and even rest.
D. The Q & A section.
The activity was held by the Cooperation Club in the local division and students from international division. And it is a good opportunity for communications between students from local division and international division.
