SHSID High School Commends Excellence in STEM Innovation

On September 14th, Mr. Ma Feng, the high school principal of SHSID, met with students and their mentors in Xianmian Building's meeting room to recognize their remarkable achievements in various academic and innovative activities over the past school year. Principal Ma expressed his gratitude to the mentors for their exceptional teamwork and guidance and presented school award certificates to the outstanding students.


While acknowledging the students’ achievements, Principal Ma also encouraged them to stay true to their original aspirations, keep exploring new possibilities, and strive for even greater accomplishments in their future studies and lives.




SHSID students consistently achieve remarkable results. Over the past two years, SHSID High School has earned three First Awards (including one Grand Award), one Second Award, and one Fourth Award at the prestigious International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). Additionally, SHSID has won the Biology Gold Award and the Grand Award at the S.-T. Yau High School Science Award. Notably, two students now studying at Stanford University had jointly secured a Fourth Award at the ISEF Final. SHSID students consistently demonstrate confidence, resilience, and perseverance in their academic pursuits. These outstanding accomplishments also reinforce the school's educational philosophy of being "student-centered and inspiring scientific aspiration" as well as its commitment to cultivating high-level talents.
