Grade 10 Assembly: Love for Volleyball

On the morning of October 23, the weekly assembly for SHSID tenth graders was held in Zhongxing Theatre. As starters, the STEMDoge club and Language club had their promotion on the Bit Day activities this week. The traditional activities of Online Trivia and Bit Day Fair not only allowed every student to participate actively but also gave everyone a chance to learn new and interesting knowledge along the way. 



During the second half of the assembly, three proficient volleyball players in the grade gave an exciting lecture about volleyball. They explained the detailed history of volleyball, the basic rules, competition techniques and so on. During their sharing session, the three students also reflected on their volleyball competition and shared what they learned from each competition, demonstrating their enthusiasm in the sport. Lastly, they threw and tossed an actual volleyball as demonstration, receiving loads of applause and cheers from their tenth grader peers.





Through this assembly, everyone was informed of the upcoming Bit Day Festival, and they were also given the motivation to stay active with the passionate sharing that their peers gave on volleyball.
