Middle and Primary School English Department: Congratulations to SHSID Middle School MUN for receiving the Best Delegation Award

On October 26-28, SHSID Middle School MUN students attended the annual SHAMUN conference. A total of 17 schools from a variety of cities attended this conference. During three unforgettable days, students actively drafted resolutions, debated ideas, negotiated positions, and voted clauses into action.







Their hard work and leadership were clearly recognized by all other delegates: Congratulations to 8-4 Alex, 8-12 Annike, 8-9 Echo, 8-12 Emma, and 8-12 Miki for taking up the role of main-submitter, or the leader of their groups. For their particular outstanding performances, some students have been honored with awards. Congratulations to 8-4 Alex for being recognized as an Outstanding Delegate.









Lastly, special congratulations for SHSID Middle School MUN, for receiving the Best Delegation award. This award is presented to the best overall school team. Together, SHSID Middle School MUN club is a united and unstoppable team.



Overall, SHAMUN has been an amazing and valuable experience for all students. Through three days of nonstop negotiation, collaboration, and innovation. It presents excellent opportunities for students to practice collaboration, decorum, public speaking, and negotiation. All SHSID students who participated in MUN are one large step closer to becoming the world-changers of the future generation. SHSID Middle School MUN is ready for every new challenge and opportunity in future conferences.
