Peer Advisors Midterm Review Activity Held
On the afternoon of October 30, Peer Advisors (PA) specially organized a midterm review activity, which was embedded in the bi-weekly CAS course to help students prepare adequately for the upcoming midterm exams.
This year, the PA department divided the review activities into three sessions to cover as many subjects and levels as possible. The students who participated in the help of reviewing showed extremely high enthusiasm for helping their peers. They summarized and wrote review materials on their own, with detailed and targeted content for all levels. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the overall process of reviewing, all review materials have undergone strict analysis and confirmation by all subject teams and responsible teachers from the TA, aiming to provide students with clear review concepts and scientific planning guides.
Specifically, each subject was led by a preparation team of two to three students, collaborating with each other to complete the pre-course preparation work, gradually developing detailed teaching plans and creating exquisite PPTs. Subsequently, they each took on the teaching tasks of two to three tutoring sessions, greatly stimulating the students' enthusiasm for participation and learning.
The PA review activity has achieved significant results, and all participating students have greatly benefited from it. On the one hand, it provides valuable practical opportunities for students who strive to enhance their public speaking skills, allowing them to improve their abilities while contributing to school service. On the other hand, it also helps more students systematically review and organize their knowledge on specific subjects, consolidating their learning achievements.
We believe that through this carefully organized review activity, students will not only have a stronger grasp of knowledge for the midterms, but also have a deeper understanding of the value when it comes to helping others.
