Grade 11 Assembly: Eating Well Is Important
On November 21, SHSID juniors gathered in the Xianmian auditorium for the weekly assembly. Richard from class 11-4 gave a presentation about eating well.
First, Richard talked about the importance of eating well. He reminded the students that eating is an essential part of our daily lives; he also noted that eating is crucial for maintaining one's mental and physical wellbeing. Next, Richard gave some tips for students who are going to study abroad. He suggested that students could visit their campus before school starts and note down some good restaurants. He also shared a personal anecdote about how Panda Express was not for him, telling the students to avoid unauthentic Chinese restaurants.
Finally, Richard suggested that all students should learn how to cook so that they can make themselves a healthy meal. After that, he showed a video of him cooking as an example. Through his sharing, students all gave more thoughts to the seemingly unimportant act of eating in the future academic life. Hopefully, they will enjoy good food during their time in college.
