Puxi Campus G7: Spring Field Trip to Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park
On May 9th, the Puxi Campus seventh-grade students arrived at school in an excited mood, ready and eager to embark on the spring trip to the Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park. On the school bus, laughter was abundant, as an atmosphere of youthful vigor and curiosity danced in the air.
Upon arriving at the park, the lush green scenery greeted us as if unfolding from an exquisite picture scroll. Unlike a usual casual stroll, this spring tour incorporated a fun and challenging "scavenger hunt". Each student held a well-designed task card, which listed a series of questions related to nature observation and ecological knowledge, aiming to stimulate the students' desire to explore and hone teamwork skills. Students worked in groups to find the key to unlocking the answers by walking through the forest paths or contemplating the flowers. The tacit understanding and joy of success became the most touching scenery in the spring.
The sunshine shone through the treetops, and sprinkled on excited smiling faces. After completing the scavenger hunts, many students chose participate in the amusement program. The four amusement program coupons provided to each student became the golden key to the world of joy. In the roller coaster, the students’ screams and laughter intertwined, where they experienced a melange of speed and passion. In the bumper car area, a friendly "contest" was staged, comradery strengthened with every collision. In the inertia scooter, heartbeats accelerated and fluttered. On the pirate ship, students screamed in unison, as if with the wind and waves danced, and experienced a ride of wind and waves.
In this vibrant forest, there was not only exciting amusement programs, but also unforgettable natural scenery. Walking in the forest, ancient trees, branches and leaves are intertwined, sifting dappled light and shadow, as though nature deliberately laid a green dome over the young adventurers. Exploring in groups of three or four, the students navigated this untouched terrain, capturing every subtle beauty with their cameras, and feeling the growth of every leaf and the blossoming of every flower with their hearts. The scene was not only a visual feast, but also a spiritual baptism, which allowed everyone to deeply appreciate the wonders and harmony of nature.
At two o'clock in the afternoon, this unforgettable spring trip came to an end. On the return bus, although everyone was slightly tired, hearts were filled with heavy harvest and endless reminiscence. The footprints left in the Gongqing Forest Park will become a bright color in the precious memories of students.
Let's look forward to exploring the unknown and harvesting more beauty and growth together when the next spring blossoms.
