In April 2025, the IOLC (International Linguistics Olympiad China Open Round) Academic Exploration Camp was held in Chongqing, China. Our students delivered an outstanding performance in the competition, achieving remarkable results.

In the individual competition, three students were awarded the Gold Prize (High Distinction, top 10%), and all of them ranked in the top 12 in the China region, demonstrating their exceptional strength in standing out among numerous contestants nationwide. Additionally, three students received the Silver Prize (Distinction, 10%-30%), and three students were awarded the Bronze Prize (Merit, 30%-50%).

In the team competition, nine students won the Silver Prize (Distinction, 10%-30%), and four students received the Bronze Prize (Merit, 30%-50%).

Behind the glory lies the students' passion for and persistence in linguistics. They are deeply fascinated by the unique charm of languages, exploring and discovering knowledge from various aspects of linguistics, such as the branches of linguistic research, the similarities and differences between languages, and the close connection between language and culture. It is this passion for linguistics that keeps them highly motivated and positive during the preparation process.

At the same time, the school and the instructor of the Club have provided comprehensive support and assistance to the students. The school places great importance on the IOLC activities and offers a favorable learning environment and abundant resources for the participating students. The instructor has developed a scientific and rational preparation plan for the students, patiently answering their questions and helping them organize their knowledge system, thereby cultivating their logical thinking and language analysis abilities. As a result, the students have made continuous progress and grown into excellent competitors with a solid foundation in linguistics and strong problem-solving skills.

Once again, we extend our warmest congratulations to the award-winning students. We also look forward to more students who are interested in multilingualism and culture joining the Linguistics Club to explore the infinite charm of multiple languages with like-minded peers, and to keep making progress and achieving more brilliance on the path of linguistics!
