Puxi Campus G7: Basketball Games
In lieu of the success of the football games that took place this semester, this April, the 7th grade students in Shanghai High School International Division ushered in an exciting basketball competition. The competition was carefully planned and organized by the Grade 7 ASB members, therefore attracting the attention and participation of many students. This game not only honed the students' basketball skills, but also allowed them to show their teamwork and sportsmanship capabilities.
After thorough preparation, a total of 12 teams from the grade participated in the basketball competition, and they competed fiercely and amicably on the court. The players threw themselves into the game and gave it their best shot, showing tenacious fighting spirit and excellent basketball skills.
Charles from Class 7-1, Norman from Class 7-2, Bobby from Class 7-8, and Eric from Class 7-11 served as referees for the tournament. They were one of the key factors in the success of the tournament. Mr. Dave and Mr. Zhang YingLei, the professional coach of Shanghai International basketball school team, were also invited to enforce the strict rules for our competition. They provided professional guidance and organization for the competition, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
In the end, Class 7-9 won the championship with their persistent fighting spirit and excellent basketball skills, while Class 7-2 won the second place with perseverance and unity, and Class 7-5 and 7-7 tied for third place.
Not only did the tournament feature exciting matchups, but there were also some players who were the focus of attention on the pitch. William Yu from 7-9, as well as Norman and Kimi from Class 7-2, demonstrated excellent playmaking and accurate passing. With their excellent vision and team spirit, they created countless scoring opportunities for their teammates and were awarded the title of the MVP (Most Valuable Player).
During the whole game, the audience applauded continuously, and they applauded each and every player's wonderful performance and team cooperation, creating a warm and exciting atmosphere. This competition not only enriched the students' extracurricular life, but also strengthened the communication and cooperation between different classes, and further cultivated the students' sense of teamwork and competitiveness.
The success of this basketball game was due to the hard work of the ASB students and the strong support of all teachers. Once again, we would like to extend our warm congratulations to all the students who participated in the tournament. Your enthusiasm and hard work brought us an unforgettable basketball tournament. We look forward to seeing more exciting sports events in the future and the continuing growth of our students!
