Grade 10 CAS: Knowledge Knockout
Time flies, and as Grade 10 comes to an end, it's time for the much-anticipated Knowledge Knockout. On June 11, a total of 12 teams participated in the three elimination rounds and one final round of the competition at the lecture hall of Zhentao Building.
To kick things off, each team leader designed a team logo and a creative team name, then began a round of ‘team roasting’ to boost their team spirit.
From the very first round of preliminary competition, students began buzzing in with answers enthusiastically. The opening questions featured classic school history trivia, such as “In what year was Shanghai High School founded?” and “When did the construction of the ZXB begin and finish?” along with questions about the championship history of our school’s varsity teams.
Next came a series of challenging academic questions that tested students’ knowledge in subjects ranging from art and music to pop culture and principles of physics. The students were fully focused as they rushed to answer. The competition hall echoed with cheers of victory when teams got an answer and some sighs of regret when they missed.
In the end, after rounds of intense challenges, the 2025 Knowledge Knockout concluded joyfully amidst laughter and applause.
