Careful Guidance and Warm Companionship - Grade 11 Parents Meeting
On the evening of April 28, the beauty of spring was particularly enchanting. On the campus of Shanghai High School, a parents meeting commenced. It was not merely an exchange between parents and the school, but a mutual journey of love and responsibility. In order to provide the parents of the 11th-grade students with more specific and targeted guidance, the school meticulously arranged this parent meeting. As evening approached, enthusiastic student volunteers warmly guided the parents into the Annex Auditorium of Xianmian Building, jointly initiating this beautiful chapter of parent-school collaboration in nurturing the students.
Keynote Speeches: Enlightening Wisdom And Guiding Parent-School Growth
The beginning of the parents meeting was marked by keynote speeches hosted by Ms. Zhang Yueyue, the head teacher of the 11th grade. The first speaker was Ms. Zhang Li, the Vice Principal of SHSID. Drawing upon her extensive experience, she unveiled the application stage, succinctly elaborating on the mysteries of the application process, helping parents clarify their thinking and establish their application plan. Her speech provided everyone with a clearer understanding and instilled confidence in the future.
Following that, Ms. Cui Mengdi, the Director of College Counseling, provided parents with pragmatic suggestions and important checkpoints, assisting them in planning the application journey ahead. Meanwhile, representatives of the parents from the Class of 2024 shared valuable advice from the parents' perspective regarding application details and psychological adjustment, inspiring the parents present. Lastly, Mr. Ma Feng, the Principal of SHSID, cheered on and encouraged the 11th-grade students and their parents. SHSID has always focused on the personalized and long-term development of each student. Principal Ma encouraged everyone to stay grounded while keeping their eyes on the future, conveying the school's care and expectations.
Careful Guidance and Warm Companionship:Painting a Beautiful Future Together
In the second phase of the parents meeting, everyone moved to various classrooms in the Xianmian Building, where the 12th-grade students took center stage. The seniors, who had just completed their college applications, shared valuable experience and insights with the 11th-grade students and parents, drawing from their own experiences. The sharing session was carefully divided into five sub-venues, each focusing on different countries, regions, and academic disciplines, ensuring that everyone could receive more tailored guidance and exchange.
The senior students generously imparted their knowledge, not only sharing their personal journeys in detail but also emphasizing the often-overlooked details and helpful tips. Using their own stories as a guide, they provided solid psychological support for the 11th-grade students and parents who are about to embark on their final year of high school, offering practical assistance and bringing the parent meeting to a perfect conclusion.
