Puxi Campus G1-3: 2025 SHSID Middle and Primary School Opening Ceremony of the First Semester

On the morning of September 1st, teachers and students from Grades 1–3 of SHSID Puxi Campus, gathered in the auditorium of the primary school section with great anticipation to celebrate the opening ceremony for the first semester of the 2025 school year.


The ceremony began cheerfully with warm music. Ms. Zhang Yi, Director of SHSID Puxi Campus Grade 1–3, took the stage first, extending a warm welcome to all teachers, students, and new members of the community, she also officially declared the new school year underway.



The heartfelt speeches of the student representatives brought warmth and inspiration to the ceremony. Joseph and Chelsea from Grade 2, as well as Lawrence and Queenie from Grade 3, took turns on stage to share their stories of growth and their reflections on campus life. Joseph spoke about his achievements in the Poetry Slam and Math Week, as well as his insights on self-management, encouraging new students to bravely pursue their dreams. Chelsea recalled her journey from being a nervous newcomer to becoming a confident one, touching everyone with her heartfelt message to "stay curious and be kind to one another." Lawrence reflected on his experiences of teamwork and courage, advocating for his peers to try new things, help others, and remain curious. Queenie expressed gratitude to the teachers for their dedication, shared her new academic goals and study habits, and called on fellow students to face challenges with responsibility and passion. Their speeches not only reflected the cumulative impact of the past year but also conveyed eager expectations for the new semester.









The following highlight video brought back precious memories: the unique experiences of Chinese Culture Week, the creative works of STEAM Week, and a selection of  special classroom experiences. Bursts of cheers and laughter filled the hall as teachers and students relived these unforgettable moments, drawing strength to move forward.





Mr. Liu Lian, Principal of SHSID Middle and Primary School, delivered an inspiring speech at the Grade 3 Opening Ceremony. He expressed his hope that Grade 3 students would become more independent learners— not only mastering basic skills such as packing their school bags and managing time effectively, but also thinking actively, trying their best, setting small goals, and continuing to work toward them. He wished all students a year of trying, learning, and growing. 



The award ceremony pushed the atmosphere to its climax. The "Eight Stars" awardees from each class were announced, celebrating students' outstanding achievements in academics, character, and talents. Amid warm applause, Mr. Liu presented the "Excellent Class" trophy. This honor symbolized the students' hard work and perseverance, as well as their collective growth in both study and life. The cheers and applause inspired all to keep striving forward.











At the end of the ceremony, Ms. Zhang Yi once again offered her heartfelt wishes: to treat others with kindness, to bravely try new things, to cherish every wonderful moment of growth, and to gain both knowledge and strength through exploration.





The ceremony concluded with a blessing video carefully prepared by the teachers, bringing the event to a warm and joyful close.





With the new semester officially under way, teachers and students of Grades 1–3 of SHSID Puxi Campus will move forward together with passion and determination, ready to write a fulfilling and brilliant new chapter.
