Grade 11: Knowing More about Future Plans

September 8, 2025

On the afternoon of September 4, the students from Grade 11 gathered in their homerooms for the first lesson of the new semester. This session primarily explained the college application procedures to prepare students for their future planning.

Firstly, homeroom teachers introduced basic information about US college applications and the students were guided through a detailed timeline covering the tasks to be done in different months until the final application date. Notably, teachers introduced the US test policy changes for standardized test requirements, reminding students to always keep an eye on the updated information.

Homeroom teachers also provided a brief overview of UK admissions. Students were introduced to the UCAS application system and the various entry tests required for most UK universities.  The students paid full attention, raising questions about details from time to time.

Last but not least, the students were left with a brief homework assignment of completing a Grade 11 plan, which serves as a valuable opportunity for them to reflect on their previous accomplishments and set goals for the future.
