Grade 11 Assembly: Celebrating a Year of Curiosity and Achievement

September 8, 2025

On the morning of September 5, the G11 students gathered in the Xianmian Annex Auditorium for their first assembly as juniors.

The event began with Sophie from Class 11(2), who introduced STEM Doge, one of the school’s most established STEM clubs. She highlighted the exciting activities the club offers, including organizing subject days such as Mole Day, Biology Week, Physics Week, Pi Day, and Bit Day, as well as community service projects where members share scientific knowledge with children and elders. Whether experimenting, designing interactive games, or teaching science outside the classroom, Sophie emphasized that STEM Doge encourages curiosity and active participation.

Following her presentation, the assembly transitioned into the awarding ceremony, hosted by Helen from 11(1) and Ricky from 11(6). One by one, students took the stage to be recognized, as the ceremony celebrated a year of dedication and growth. Awards included the Good Behavior Award, the Rapid Study Progress Award, and the Physical Exercise Award. The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Individual Outstanding Awards, which honored exceptional accomplishments across a wide range of disciplines—from Human Geography to Chemistry, Mathematics to Business, and excellence in student athletics.

The assembly not only marked the beginning of the juniors’ new school year but also served as a moment of pride, reflection, and inspiration—celebrating both the collaborative spirit of clubs such as STEM Doge and the many individual achievements of the student body.
