Grade 9 Assembly: Exploring New Extracurricular Horizons

On the morning of September 9, the G9 Assembly was held in the basement hall of the Zhongxing Building. The atmosphere was lively and relaxed as students sat neatly in rows, eagerly awaiting the start of the event.


This assembly, jointly presented by teachers and students, introduced a variety of extracurricular activities to the freshmen. The event began with a humorous skit by the Mock Trial Club, which immediately captivated the audience’s attention. Through their engaging performance, they introduced the club’s activities while emphasizing a welcoming and supportive environment for new members. Next, the choir club took the stage, promoting their club with the theme of "one big family." Their warm and moving performance showcased the charm of singing and the power of teamwork, bringing the atmosphere to a high point. Following the choir club, Ms. Ma from the TA Office introduced the Peer Advisor (PA) Program. She explained the roles of its six departments, including lectures, tutoring, resource provision, news, publicity, and poster design, highlighting how the program provides well-rounded academic and extracurricular support. The final presentation came from members of the school’s volleyball teams. They not only emphasized the excitement of competitive sports but also conveyed the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.



The assembly concluded successfully, leaving students looking forward to a vibrant and enriching campus life.
