Puxi Campus G6: ASB Election
As autumn deepens, the SHSID Puxi Campus brims with warmth and vitality. Recently, our sixth-grade ASB election campaign concluded successfully. Participants showcased the burgeoning independence and leadership of our middle schoolers through confident presentations, innovative ideas, and a genuine commitment to service.
Candidates hailed from diverse classes, united by a shared passion to contribute to campus life. Their speeches revealed action plans that went beyond mere promises: some emphasized service and communication, proposing a "Wednesday feedback collection & Friday follow-up" mechanism to foster genuine two-way dialogue; others showcased creativity and energy, calling for "a campus filled with laughter and connection"; others highlighted their diverse experiences and comprehensive skills, proposing initiatives like organizing "study sharing sessions" and advocating for a book-sharing system, which resonated with students' aspirations for a richer campus life.
As the beginning of middle school life, sixth grade is not only a critical period of academic transition but also an important step toward student self-governance. Teachers consistently encourage students to express themselves boldly and learn responsibility, and this ASB election is a vivid embodiment of this educational philosophy. Students are no longer merely participants in campus activities but have become planners, coordinators, and advocates—they are proving through action that they have both the ability and the willingness to build a better campus environment for themselves and others.
Announcing the New ASB Members
Following fair voting and comprehensive evaluation, the following students have been elected as the new sixth-grade ASB members. Let us extend our heartfelt congratulations to them!
Every time they raise their hand to speak is a breakthrough; every time they step onto the podium is a step toward growth. Regardless of the outcome, all candidates have demonstrated exceptional courage and responsibility. May this spirit of service and leadership continue to shine brightly as sixth graders embark on their middle school journey, collectively writing their own remarkable chapters!
