Pudong Campus: Diverse Friday Clubs

To help students explore their interests and potential while enhancing their comprehensive literacy, the after-school club system at Pudong Campus has been fully launched, covering four major fields: Music & Dance, Science & Innovation, Sports & Athletics, and Arts. In the third week of the new semester, students walked into various activity venues with great anticipation, officially embarking on this colorful journey that combines fun and growth.


Music & Dance: A Fusion of Eastern and Western Arts

Eastern and Western arts converge and shine within the Music and Dance Clubs, sparking a passionate collision of creativity. The Musical Club deeply integrates vocal music, lines and performance through the appreciation of classic segments and the creation of original short plays. Every year at the campus art festival, the works produced by the club make an appearance. Starting with basic movements, the Ballet Club combines the teaching of classic excerpts such as Swan Lake, which not only cultivates students' elegant temperament but also improves their physical coordination. The Jiangnan Dance Club focuses on the culture of Chinese classical dance, leading students to appreciate the unique charm and distinctive style of national art.





Science & Innovation: Exploring the Unknown through Fun Practice

Science and Innovation clubs offer boundless fun, where students can explore and discover without limits. The Coding & 3D Printing Club progresses in a step-by-step manner, from graphical programming to programming languages. Students can turn their creative designs into 3D-printed physical objects and experience the joy of creation. The Micro: Bit Club inspires thinking critically about programming; students use programming boards to make remote control devices, stimulating their creativity. Centered on interdisciplinary projects, the STEAM Club allows students to apply knowledge from multiple disciplines and feel the charm of boundary-crossing creation during the process of making handmade creations like "mini catapults" and "fun aquariums." The Science Exploring Club explores the mysteries behind scientific phenomena through hands-on experiments.









Sports & Athletics: Forging Character through Passionate Endeavors

Amidst passionate shouts and gleaming sweat, the arena becomes a stage where true prowess shines. The Basketball Club teaches students in accordance with their aptitude, ranging from breaking down the teaching of basic movements to the practical drills of advanced tactics. In repeated runs, jumps and collaborations, students not only improve their basketball skills but also learn perseverance and the ability to cope with setbacks through sweat, gaining the courage to grow. The Baseball Club is full of ritual sense, students learn etiquette first before practicing skills, and experience the passionate charm of baseball's "never giving up on any inning" through teamwork.



Fine Arts: Unbounded Creativity to Showcase Individuality

In the realm of art clubs, individuality and creativity soar freely. Breaking the limitation of traditional paper-and-pen creation, the Art Attack Club focuses on life aesthetics and guides students to draw inspiration from daily life. Students use creative materials such as non-woven fabric and clay for artistic creation, turning waste into treasure so that every piece of creativity carries love and can be cherished for life.


The diverse after-school clubs have sown the seeds of exploration in students. We firmly believe that as the after-school clubs continue to develop, students will thrive on this fertile ground and gain more growth.
