Puxi Campus G7: Tug-of-War Highlights
On October 16, during the YD period, Grade 7 students gathered at outdoor basketball court for a thrilling tug-of-war competition full of energy and determination.
At the sound of the referee's whistle, the rope tightened instantly. Competitors from each class took firm positions— hands gripping tightly and feet braced against the ground. Some clenched their teeth, others furrowed their brows, their faces filled with focus and resolve. The red marker on the rope swung dramatically from side to side as both teams fought hard in a tense stalemate. From the sidelines came waves of cheers and encouragement, with teachers joining in to cheer their students on. When the marker finally crossed the line, the winning team erupted in celebration— sweat and smiles capturing the true spirit of teamwork. After four intense rounds, Class 7-7 and Class 7-1 emerged as the respective champions and runners-up.

Following the class matches, the much-anticipated teacher–student tug-of-war raised the excitement to another level. Teachers showed steady strength and strategy, while students countered with youthful energy and determination. The shouts, laughter, and applause created a joyful scene filled with camaraderie and warmth.

More than a contest of strength, the tug-of-war became a lesson in unity, perseverance, and trust. Within just two class periods, students not only competed fiercely but also experienced the true power of teamwork— a spirit that will continue to shine throughout their future learning journey.
