Lin'gang Campus: 2025 Sports Week
In mid-October, SHSID Lin'gang Campus held its long-awaited Sports Week. Laughter and cheers could be heard everywhere, and the whole school was full of energy.

The week started with colorful theme days. On Monday, students wore sportswear, and the Sports Meet officially began. On Tuesday, the campus turned into a "Sports Hat Show," with students wearing baseball caps, ski hats, and bicycle helmets. On Wednesday, they wore their favorite sports outfits— jerseys, yoga sets, and tracksuits— to show their love for sports. On Thursday, each class wore its own color. The bright colors made the campus look like a big paint palette and filled it with excitement and hope.

On October 13, students marched into the sound of music while parents watched with pride. Katherine from Class 3-1 shared her kayaking story. She said she almost gave up at first but later learned that success takes determination and the right methods. She encouraged everyone to try their best. Then, students performed a dance that amazed the audience. Mu from Class 2-1 and Daniel from Class 2-2 gave impressive martial arts performances. After that, the teachers sang "The Champion," and the crowd applauded loudly. Finally, Mr. Xu Yuecan, Principal of ESHS, gave an opening speech encouraging students to embrace challenges with energy and confidence.

Once the whistle blew, the competitions began, and the sports field came alive. In the 50-meter race, students sprinted quickly like arrows. In the "All-Rounder Challenge," they crawled, squatted, carried balls, bounced balls, and crossed rings, showing both strength and speed.

The group events were exciting. In the "Ball Relay," students passed a ball 20 times while running. Each pass showed their teamwork and class spirit. On the water, the Kayaking Relay was a highlight. Five students from each class rowed 200 meters one after another, passing the paddle with a light touch. The cheering from the shore was so loud that it covered the sound of the water.

Parent-child events brought warmth to the day. In "Ski Doubles," children and parents stepped together on shared pedals, moving in rhythm to "one, two." The 50-meter race between teachers and parents reached the highest level of excitement. They ran with full effort while parents and teachers cheered loudly from the side.

Many parent volunteers worked quietly behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly. They cheered for the children, helped with parent-child activities, recorded scores, guided students, kept order, and took photos of the best moments.

Sports Week was filled with fun during the whole week. During P.E. classes and lunch breaks, students played different games. The limbo game is always packed with excited kids. Each time the bar gets lower, they hold their breath, bend their backs, and lean their heads to try to get under it. The "Pig herding" game is even more energetic. Kids run around with buckets, quickly chasing the rolling balls. In the fun and relaxing atmosphere, they enjoy every moment of the games.

After four wonderful days, Sports Week came to an end. The effort, teamwork, friendships, family support, teacher participation, and volunteer help created special memories for everyone. Sports Week was not just about competition— it was also about courage, cooperation, and persistence. Students challenged themselves, learned the power of teamwork, and found joy in every game. The spirit of "never give up" will stay with them as they continue to grow, run forward, and shine in the future.
