Hongkou Campus: The Second-Grade Parent-Teacher Meeting
I. Warm Welcome · Creating a Friendly Dialogue Atmosphere
On October 23rd, the second-grade parent-teacher meeting with the theme of "Cultivating Children for the Future" was successfully held. This meeting focused on core topics such as competency development in the AI era, the critical stage of second-grade growth, and home-school collaborative education. It aimed to help parents accurately grasp their children's development needs after entering the second grade and jointly build a solid bridge for their children's future growth.

At the beginning of the meeting, parents signed in an orderly manner and received meeting handbooks, which provided practical references for home-school co-education. The on-site large screen played loops of clips showing students' in-class interactions and club activities, and the warm atmosphere enabled parents to quickly engage in this "growth dialogue".
II. Concept Guidance · Clarifying the Blueprint for Students' Growth
After the official start of the parent-teacher meeting, Ms. Zhao, the head of second-grade, spoke first and shared insights around the theme of "Core Growth Changes and Advanced Development Expectations for the Second Grade". She elaborated on the upgrade of the core values of the personal growth curriculum from HERO to HEROES, which covers six dimensions: helpfulness, diligence and progress, sense of responsibility, optimism, empathy, and self-management. Through "Goal Setting", "Monthly Theme" moral education, and social-emotional learning courses, the school systematically helps students make joint progress in knowledge acquisition and character cultivation.
III. Academic Guidance · Analyzing Subject Key Strategies
Subsequently, teachers of various subjects took the stage one after another. They interpreted the teaching plans, key and difficult points, and characteristic activities in combination with the subject characteristics of the second grade. In response to issues of common concern to parents, such as "how to help children adapt to the increased difficulty of learning" and "how to cultivate efficient homework habits", the subject team provided specific and actionable family tutoring suggestions, and emphasized the key role of home-school collaboration in helping children smoothly go through the adaptation period of the second grade.

IV. Era-Based Co-Education · Inspiring the Wisdom of Family Education
Ms. Zhu Dan, the director of Hongkou Campus, focused on "Key Elements of Family Education in the AI Era" and delivered a forward-looking presentation. She pointed out that future education needs to focus on cultivating children's core competencies such as critical thinking, innovation ability, and collaborative communication. Director Zhu Dan suggested that parents continue the school's training goals at home by "asking open-ended questions", "taking AI as a creative partner", and "regulating their own use of technology". She also called on parents to actively practice the "Three-One Action" to jointly lay a solid foundation for their children's growth in the future.

V. In-Depth Communication · Pooling the Strength of Home-School Cooperation
In the subsequent class communication session, head teachers and parents reviewed the overall situation of the class, sorted out the highlights and areas for improvement in habit cultivation, and conducted in-depth discussions on practical issues such as "how to adapt to the learning rhythm of the second grade". The subsequent parent support workshop focused on five themes including "patience and perseverance" and "independent learning", allowing parents to gain more educational inspirations suitable for their children through experience sharing and ideological exchanges.

This parent-teacher meeting came to a close in a harmonious and productive atmosphere. Parents all expressed that through this meeting, they not only gained a clear understanding of their children's growth trajectory at school but also mastered specific methods to support their children's growth in the AI era. Everyone looks forward to continuously strengthening home-school communication, joining hands to empower children, and jointly witnessing them grow into future-oriented independent thinkers and innovative practitioners.
