History and Geography Department: The Britain Pitch and the Revolution Path: Industrial Revolution Class Activity

November 20, 2025

On the morning of November 20, the 10th-grade history class began introducing the Industrial Revolution. To help students better understand the early developments of this transformative era, the class organized group discussions around two themes: “The Britain Pitch” and “The Revolution Path.”

Based on the textbook, the “Britain Pitch” group was tasked with identifying three primary reasons why Britain led the First Industrial Revolution. They were required to create a poster to clearly present their findings and simulated an “investment conference,” delivering speeches to attract more investors to Britain.

The “The Revolution Path” group reviewed and organized specific technological advancements during the early Industrial Revolution. They were asked to create a logically structured “Problems and Solutions” flowchart, using a series of problems and corresponding solutions to illustrate key stages and breakthroughs of the Industrial Revolution.

During class, students collaborated within their groups, actively engaged in discussions, and hands-on created visual presentation materials. They participated enthusiastically in the sharing and exchange session, effectively mastering the developmental context of the early Industrial Revolution.
