Pudong Campus: Autumn Outing: Learn & Grow in Nature
On the morning of November 19, 2025, under a clear autumn sky with gentle breeze, students from Pudong Campus set off for Jegoplaytoo, brimming with anticipation. The autumn outing, which blended fun activities with literacy development, kicked off amid golden ginkgo leaves dancing in the wind—like a natural welcome carpet for the journey. Laughter and cheers from the students echoed beyond the school buses, filling the road to the paradise in advance.

Upon entering the paradise, a variety of amusement facilities immediately caught the students’ attention. In Rabbit Baby Kingdom, younger children lined up neatly for the brightly colored carrot-shaped slide, holding their peers’ hands in excitement. Screams as they slid down and laughter after landing mingled into a delightful melody. Near the ultra-long zip line in Growth World, older students bravely took on the challenge; as they soared into the air, cheers mixed with the wind, their faces glowing with pride at overcoming their fear. In the nearby mini water conservancy area, students collaborated to build water channels and adjust water flow, practicing division of labor and teamwork through hands-on experience.

Beyond the rides, the paradise’s natural beauty and the rare warm autumn sun stood as a “double treasure” for the children. Patches of autumn flowers — purple and yellow — bloomed vividly under the sun, swaying gently and casting fragmented light and shadow. Small groups of students wandered around, chatting or chasing bubbles that glistened with colorful reflections in the sunlight, drifting alongside their laughter.

A highlight of the outing was its deep integration of CME courses with practical experience. Before departure, homeroom teachers had linked pre-trip education with three core values—“Respect,” “Care,” and “Responsibility”—urging students to help each other, show consideration, protect the environment, and care for public facilities. These guidelines translated into real actions during the trip: students volunteered to yield at the zip line, assisted each other in the human-powered go-kart area, cleaned up garbage together at rest spots, and supported stumbling peers — bringing classroom literacy lessons to life.
As the sun set, the outing drew to a close, but the students’ gains extended far beyond joy. Back in school, they carefully filled out challenge cards. Each line reflected growth, making the cards a vivid testament to the “unity of knowledge and action” emphasized during the trip.

From classroom to playground, theory to practice, the outing turned literacy requirements into playful, nature-filled experiences. When education moves beyond classrooms, children gain not just a day of happiness, but also heartfelt warmth and growth—this is the most precious gift the unique autumn journey brought to every student at Pudong Campus.
