Puxi Campus G1-3: Field Trip
With great anticipation, the long-awaited field trip finally arrived. To ensure that students could fully enjoy the experience, teachers reviewed important behavior guidelines beforehand, emphasizing the value of following public rules, respecting others, and protecting the environment. These reminders helped make sure that everyone would have a safe and pleasant journey. Students prepared their personal belongings as instructed, kept in mind the importance of staying with their class at all times, listened carefully to teachers and guides, and offered help to classmates whenever needed. With safety awareness, good habits, and excitement in their hearts, the children happily set off on their autumn field trip.
The first-grade children entered the Beijia Bao STEAM Children's Experience Center full of anticipation, embarking on a wonderful journey of exploration that integrated science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. The children moved through different pavilions, experiencing the wonders of science through interactive installations, and using their tiny hands to feel the warmth of knowledge while building with toy bricks and designing houses. In the planet-themed pavilion, they earnestly pondered the principles of mechanical operation and experienced the marvel of engineering and technology by operating devices themselves. In the lively play area, the children freely expressed their carefree nature, embracing innocent friendships and the warmth of group activities through running and playing.
This autumn outing was not only a joyful outdoor practice but also a vivid study trip. The children gained knowledge through play, stimulated creativity through collaboration, and experienced the joy of professions through role-playing— dressing up in police uniforms, simulating milking work, or operating tower cranes to transport materials. Every segment brought the little ones a great sense of accomplishment.
The second graders stepped into the Jegoplaytoo Park— and it felt as if they had walked straight into a living, breathing storybook. In front of Bunny Castle, the giant bunny-shaped play structure became the star of the entire area. Slides curved downward, climbing nets stretched in every direction, and children ran, climbed, and glided to their hearts' content, releasing their endless energy. Waves of cheerful laughter rang throughout the park. The Racing Zone ignited even more excitement. Bumper cars collided with bursts of laughter, and pedal cars sped around the track again and again. Speed and joy raced side by side, and the children's bright smiles shone even more brilliantly under the warm autumn sun. Under the Dreamcatcher, the rainbow bouncing pillow and the giant climbing web shimmered with vibrant colors. The children leapt and darted lightly like little clouds drifting through a rainbow world, fully enjoying the pure fun of bouncing and climbing.
On this unforgettable autumn day, the children played freely outdoors, explored boldly, and learned joyfully. Filled with new discoveries, laughter, and growing curiosity, they tucked this magical golden-autumn memory deep into their hearts— a warm, shining moment in the story of their childhood.
Third-grade students set off on an exciting, technology-rich autumn field trip to Shanghai Disney Town, where they visited the SoReal VR experience center— a space that blends cutting-edge technology with artistic creativity. Under the guidance of their teachers and following the venue's height requirements, students sampled a variety of immersive attractions: a virtual roller coaster that felt like soaring through a valley, a high-altitude parachute simulation that felt like freefall, and a flying-saucer style ride that recreated different theme-park sensations. They also took on the fast-paced thrills of VR kart racing, explored the team-oriented speed and coordination challenges of a simulated horseback adventure, and enjoyed breathtaking immersive films in the panoramic VR cinema. Each activity offered the children new technological experiences in a safe environment, allowing them to explore, feel the rush of speed, test their courage, and share plenty of laughter and surprise.
Afterward, the children enjoyed a breathtaking panoramic light and shadow show. As the entire space was enveloped in vibrant lights and surround sound, their faces lit up with wonder and awe. They watched intently as the ever-changing images unfolded before them, occasionally gasping in amazement as the stars in the sky moved above their heads, or clapping excitedly at the thrilling moments in the story. The magic of the light and shadows not only captivated the students' full attention but also planted a seed in their hearts, inspiring them to appreciate the beauty of both technology and art.
Finally, the children entered the Disney Store, where they experienced the fantasy world of products firsthand, learning how to plan and choose wisely. Surrounded by a variety of exquisite merchandise, they carefully examined prices, compared options, and made thoughtful decisions on how to spend their pocket money. Throughout the process, the students showed remarkable rationality and independence, turning the shopping experience into a lively lesson in financial management.
After the field trip, students returned to school and thoughtfully reflected on their performance during the activity, filling out self-evaluation forms. Many children recorded their favorite moments in the form and shared the growth and lessons they gained from the experience. This engaging reflection allowed each student to take away valuable experiences and lasting memories of their personal development.
