Pudong Campus: Grade 3: Cultivate Independent Learning, Be Masters of Time

January 16, 2026

This semester, Grade 3 at Pudong Campus focused on fostering independent learners, guiding students to master self-management skills during mid-term and final review periods.

During mid-term preparations, students used custom calendars to set daily review tasks and self-checklists to track progress. For uncompleted goals, they took the initiative to analyze reasons, adjust plans, and fill knowledge gaps on their own. This "plan-track-assess-reflect" model significantly boosted their self-management abilities.

By the final review stage, students had become more organized. They created targeted plans for their weak points, with many making personalized desk name tags featuring review tips and daily reminders to stay on track. Daily homework classes also served as a platform for practicing self-management. Students learned to prepare supplies in advance, allocate time wisely, correct past mistakes first, and mark completed schoolwork with special symbols.

After a semester of practice, these once teacher-dependent learners have gradually turned into independent planners, capable of managing time and solving problems on their own. This has laid a solid foundation for their long-term study and life.
