Grades 9-10: Course Day
On March 4, Grade 9 and 10 students attended a special lecture on course selection guidance. To help students plan their academic studies and select courses more rationally, subject teachers were invited to provide professional insights on course content, learning requirements, assessment characteristics, and future development directions.

The lecture consisted of two parts. For the first part, G9 and G10 students went to different lecture halls. During the G9 session, teachers from various departments, including Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, and AP/IB programs, thoroughly explained course content and learning objectives. Rather than simply listing requirements, teachers provided practical advice on how students can align their academic choices with their future goals. For G10 students, the first part was an introduction to different curriculum systems, including IB, AP, and A-Level. Teachers gave detailed explanations from the perspectives of course content, learning difficulty, and assessment methods, enabling students to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the advantages of the three systems. They can then better compare curriculum differences and make decisions according to their own conditions, providing a clear reference for the subsequent selection of subjects and planning of learning paths. The second part was a personalized Q&A session. Based on their own interests, strengths and future plans, students could independently choose subjects and communicate face-to-face with corresponding subject teachers, consult them for more information and advice.

By the end of the day, participating students expressed that the event significantly enhanced their understanding of the academic curriculum. The atmosphere was vibrant and engaging, leaving students feeling empowered and far more confident in making informed choices for their future success.
