Exploring the Wonders of Physics with AI Animation, Building Youthful Aspirations with the Light of Science — Physics Week Successfully Concludes

May 25, 2026

On May 20, Physics Week of high school international division, themed “AI Physics Animation,” came to a successful close. The event featured diverse content and innovative formats, drawing enthusiastic participation and lively interaction between teachers and students. Through fun, hands-on practice and in-depth exploration, everyone experienced the charm of physics and sparked scientific thinking.

AI Physics Animation Empowers Teaching

During this Physics Week, students closely focused on core physics knowledge of high school, using AI technology to transform abstract principles into intuitive animations. Under the professional guidance of their teachers, they completed a series of high-quality works. From dynamic demonstrations of projectile motion and circular motion to scene simulations of Kepler’s laws and gas laws, the works covered multiple fields including mechanics and electricity. Teachers and students could adjust parameters to observe changes in physical phenomena in real time and obtain simulated experiment results. This not only significantly enhanced students’ efficiency in understanding and applying knowledge, but also provided vivid and practical digital resources for physics teaching.

Unlocking the Mysteries of Electricity

To deepen the study of electricity, Grade 10 students carried out a fun “fruit battery” experiment. Cleverly using everyday fruits such as lemons and oranges together with simple equipment, they successfully built a variety of simple batteries. Students from the “STEM DOGE” club were particularly adventurous—they even tried making batteries from non-fruit materials and achieved equally satisfactory results. The novel and intriguing experiments, with their intuitive and vivid phenomena, attracted many teachers and students to stop, observe, and engage in lively discussions.

Expert-Guided Science Outreach

The event specially invited an aviation expert to deliver a lecture titled “From National Treasures to Wings of Daily Life.” Drawing on deep professional expertise and high-quality teaching resources, the lecture opened the door to the world of aerospace for the students through vivid explanations. The expert deconstructed the mysteries of flight layer by layer, covering topics such as the low-altitude economy and aircraft structure. Moreover, taking the scientists behind “Two Bombs, One Satellite” as role models, the expert recounted their touching stories of hard work and dedication to the country, guiding students to cultivate a profound sense of patriotism and establish the lofty ideal of serving the nation through science and technology.

Award-Winning Student Share His Experiences as Role Models

The event also specially invited an award-winning student from the IYPT (International Young Physicists’ Tournament) to share his experiences. Drawing from his own competition journeys, he sincerely shared insights and practical tips on preparation, problem-solving, and defense. From a peer perspective, he provided his juniors with referential and actionable methods for learning and competition, creating an exchange platform for peer support and mutual progress. This inspired more students to embrace challenges and delve deeper into physics.

Frequent Good News from Competitions

Recently, students of the High School International Division have repeatedly achieved excellent results in various physics competitions. Behind these outstanding achievements are the students’ genuine passion for physics and their hard work, as well as the meticulous guidance and precise empowerment from the high school physics department.

Integrating technology, fun, academics, and inspiration, this Physics Week not only built a platform for teacher-student interaction and interdisciplinary integration, but also enabled students to appreciate the value of physics through practice and to strengthen their scientific convictions through the power of role models. In the future, the High School International Division will continue to cultivate distinctive disciplinary features, innovate teaching methods, and guide students to take science as their wings and hard work as their oars—constantly exploring the path of knowledge and embarking on their journey ahead with knowledge and passion.
