This year's Academic Exploration Camp brought together top linguistics students from across the country, making the competition particularly fierce. SHSID students stood out in the intense contest, securing numerous individual and team honors. Four students earned direct qualification for the 2027 Academic Exploration Camp Senior Level, demonstrating the school's strong commitment to cultivating talent in the humanities.

Senior Level: Exceptional Performance, Breaking into National Top 12

In the Senior Level, SHSID students showcased formidable individual competitiveness: one student won a Gold Medal, ranking among China's Top 12; two students received Silver Medals; and one student earned a Bronze Medal. In the team competition, a four-member team worked seamlessly together to capture the Team Gold Medal, fully reflecting the dual strengths of SHSID students in both individual analytical depth and collaborative teamwork.

Junior Level: Rising Stars Continuing the Legacy

The Junior Level also delivered exciting news: one student claimed a Gold Medal, also ranking among China's Top 12, demonstrating the vibrant potential of the new generation; another student won a Silver Medal. In the team event, four students united in their efforts to win the Team Silver Medal, gaining invaluable experience for future participation in the senior level.

Years of Dedication: The Linguistics Club's Deep Roots

This year's remarkable achievements owe much to the long-term, dedicated work of the school's Linguistics Club. Many of the award-winning students are core members of the club. Under teacher's guidance, the club holds regular weekly activities, establishing a systematic and enriching learning framework. Language is the code of civilization; thinking is the key to exploration. The high performance of SHSID students at the IOLC is not only a personal triumph but also a testament to the school's enduring commitment to discovering and nurturing students' interests, actively supporting student-led academic clubs, and providing fertile ground for individual growth. We look forward to seeing more SHSID students continue to write brilliant chapters in the vast world of linguistics.
