Grade 9: Assembly - Tips of Being an Extrovert
This week’s assembly was held as usual on Tuesday, April 4. First, a few announcements were made, then came the student speaker of the week. Rosa from class 9(3) came up on stage to share tips on how to be an extrovert. Of course, she didn’t mean that introverts are bad. She emphasized that these tips are things someone who wants to be an extrovert can use. Rosa explained that being brave and talking to more people is important in being an extrovert. She acknowledged that sometimes one might feel stressed talking to others because they fear they will make a fool out of themselves. However, she pointed out, people generally don’t pay that much attention to anyone, so stressing over that is somewhat pointless. But “extroverts might also be a pain to deal with”, Rosa continued in a joking manner. Rosa played a video of her dancing around a friend of hers and scaring her friend. Through this funny scenario, she also raised attention to the potential negative influence that an extrovert may bring unto others. The conclusion at the end of the presentation was that it doesn't matter if you're introverted or extroverted. Finding out who you are and who you want to be are more important. And the assembly of this week came to an end in warm applause.
