Puxi Grade 3: Writing Ancient Poetry with a Hard-Tipped Pen

March 6, 2023

On March 6, after two weeks of hard-tipped pen calligraphy practice classes, the third graders at Puxi campus prepared pens and their favorite ancient poetry, and began to actively participate in the hard-tipped pen calligraphy competition.

The students sat upright and wrote very decently, stroke by stroke. Stunning, picking up, and closing the strokes, through repeated practice, every small stroke seems to have great calligraphers’ demeanor.

In the end, after intense competition, some students' calligraphy stood out and won everyone's unanimous approval. One student also said, "I like calligraphy and ancient poetry very much. This competition made me love the art of calligraphy even more, and also gave me a deeper understanding of the artistic conception of ancient poetry".

In addition, in order to welcome the arrival of International Women's Day, the children also selected some beautiful words to describe women, and wrote down their best wishes to their mothers. We believe that in future study and life, writing will still be one of their favorite things to do.
