Grade 10: Club Activity Sharing – SHH Volunteer Club
With the arrival of the new coronavirus outbreak during winter vacation, the activities of Shanghai Healing Home (SHH) volunteer club have been brought to a standstill. Although it is not possible to visit the disabled orphans in person and play face-to-face games, the club still cares about these lovely kids and hope to do something for them. They shared their experiences in Week 7.
In early March, they discussed their plan and decided to donate essential items to the kids in need. This decision has been supported by every club member. To help the children in need, people have donated their pocket money. The club soon raised 1274 Yuan and bought a large amount of hand sanitizer and tissue paper for the children. They plan to wait until the outbreak is over to return to SHH to visit the children in need and provide them with more love and joy. But before the outbreak ends, they will continue to focus on the needs of SHH and help the kids there within their capabilities. Participating in CAS activities at home is a good way to grow in addition to academic study; at the same time, helping people in need is a way to improve and stay happy.
