First Graders’ Creative Planets!

Over the last couple weeks in science class, our 1stgrade students have been learning about space. The science teachers asked the students to create and present their own planet. Each student had been given a 3D Styrofoam ball and told to make an imaginary planet. The planet was to be unique and different from the planets they have learned about before.

During the science class on December 19, all the students gave a presentation on their planet. Every one of the planets was so creative and interesting. Every teacher was inspired by the students’ imaginative creations, including Logo Planet, Rainbow Planet and even Monster Planet! All the students spent a lot of time and effort on this project. We are very proud of both the presentations given and the planets created by our students.
