8th Grade Science Fair Project Competition
8th Grade Science Fair Project Competition
What will the world be like in ten years, twenty? What new innovation will we have? This month, our eighth grade students each created physics projects to predict the future’s technology. With new transportation, entertainment, and gadgets the world would never be the same. Each student was assigned with the task of creating innovation for the future. Many brilliant ideas developed and the best were presented in our school’s hallway. For example, Tommy Ni’s NiceEs is a machine based on the laws of physics’ destructive interference that makes a loud room quite. This would have a perfect use within schools, especially classrooms. Another project is Hiko’s Buoyancy-Powered Generator. It uses a light propeller to make an object seem to be floating. Other ideas such as antigravity and teleportation, was to recycle were also seen. Our eighth graders have worked very hard on this project. And their results were better than expected. In the end, every student was given a chance to vote for their favorite project. The contest’s results are not out yet, but no matter what reward or place they get, every student did a wonderful job in creating this project. This project proves that our eighth graders are capable and imaginative students. Who knows, maybe in the future these projects will become reality.
