7th & 8th Grade Science Fair

On Thursday, March 26th, 2015, the 7th and 8th grade students had their annual science fair.

The Science Fair started with two lectures. The first one was given by an IB science teacher who talked about some interesting scientific rumors in our daily life. The second one was the presentation of the 3D printer by the TED group of SHSID. You could not believe that they made the 3D printer all by themselves. Then, students participated in some exciting games which were designed by each class, such as Tower Cards, Magic PH Value and others. Each class also had 2-3 helpers who explained the rules. If you participated in one game, you would get one stamp. After you collected some stamps, you could exchange them for something you liked, such as a 3D puzzle, mini trash bin, pencil case, and other great gifts. I think this year’s Science Fair was very successful. We not only enjoyed it, but we also learned a lot from it.
