Airplane Show
Airplane Show
On December 10, 2012, G3 students from Pudong campus went to an airplane theme park for field-trip, which is in the Expo area.
When we arrived at the park, there was a staff wearing costume acting like a doll welcome us, then we started the journey.
At the first pavilion, we saw a real airplane. The staffs there gave us a brief introduction about the plane, and let us ask questions. Two students who asks good questions got the chance to get into in the airplane! One sat in the pilot seat, and the other one sat in co-pilot seat, they looked very cool.
Students made paper airplanes after the introduction about the airplane. After everyone finished airplanes, we held a paper airplane competition to see whose airplane can fly the farthest.
After this competition, we went to the second pavilion. There were a lot of computers, and even iphones and ipads. They were all installed with some video games , which are all about how to drive and control an airplane. Students had a great time in this pavilion, and they didn’t even want to leave.
The third pavilion had a big TV, and another real plane. We watched some PPT and a video about an airplane that could spread colorful smoke. After learning about jet plane, the guide took us to outside to enjoy a wonderful show. One airplane with no people inside flew through the sky, and it spread purple and blue smoke! Everyone was astonished by this show, and suddenly there appeared another small remote-controlled airplane in the sky.
Before the students left the park, they got two big surprises. They are delicious cookies of different shapes and wooden airplane models! This is the best field trip ever.
